Milestones for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Track

The Autism and Developmental Disabilities Track of the UW School of Medicine’s Psychology Internship Program was established in 2020. After expanding from one to two residents annually in 2022, we have welcomed and trained eight psychology residents since our launch and we are delighted to welcome the first resident from our track, Daina Tagavi, PhD, to become faculty in our department!




Announcing our newest endowed professors – Randall Espinoza and Rebecca Hendrickson

We are pleased to announce that Randall Espinoza, MD, MPH, has been named the inaugural holder of the Garvey Family Endowed Professorship for Technology and Brain Health and is serving as the Medical Director of the Garvey Institute Center for Neuromodulation located in CBHL. We are also pleased to announce that Rebecca Hendrickson, MD, PhD, has been named the inaugural holder of the Denise L. Tabbutt Endowed Professorship for Trauma and Brain Health. Dr. Hendrickson cares for patients in the VA Puget Sound's outpatient posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) clinic.
