Who We Are

My clinical work and research focuses on decreasing mental health disparities in early childhood by improving the implementation of preventative interventions in low-resourced community settings. I am a pediatric psychologist in the Pediatric Clinic at Harborview. In my interactions with children and their families, I seek to take a strength-based approach to identify and bolster ways that they are resilient in the face of systems designed to work against them. In my research, I am particularly interested in partnering with early childhood centers, primary care clinics, and the parents of young Black and Latinx children to improve the delivery of early childhood preventive care.
