Alex Whitebirch, PhD, received a Washington Research Foundation (WRF) Postdoctoral Fellowship to investigate the role of prefrontal cortex neurons in fentanyl addiction and relapse using fiber photometry and chemogenetic approaches. Dr. Whitebirch completed a doctorate in neurobiology and behavior at Columbia University and is currently working with Susan Ferguson, PhD. Learn more
