The UW Center for Behavioral Health and Learning (CBHL) has 75 rooms reserved for patients legally required to receive inpatient psychiatric care for 90 to 180 days in what’s known as a civil commitment. In this new video produced by the CBHL staff, you’ll meet the team providing expert care in a supportive, welcoming environment, and learn what other UW Medicine teams can do to support these patients when they require additional care.
