The University of Washington embarks on the largest clinical trial involving psychiatric disorders located in rural areas. Examining 1,000 patients with PTSD, bipolar disorder or both, this study will help the University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences best understand how to deal with psychiatric care in rural areas of the state where it is lacking.
