U.S. News & World Report has recognized Seattle Children’s as one of the top 10 children’s hospitals in the U.S., including #1 in Washington state! Seattle Children’s is also rated in the top 50 in Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health.
The top medical centers are identified in 11 specialties, and Children’s ranked in all 11 including Cancer, Cardiology and Heart Surgery, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery, and Urology.
These rankings are important to the hospital’s reputation. A recent survey conducted by Seattle Children’s shows that over 50% of respondents consider the rankings either extremely important or very important when choosing a hospital for their child.
