Deborah Cowley, MD, and Amritha Bhat, MD, are offering new psychiatric consultation services for pregnant and postpartum women at the UW Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Services include:

• Informed consent discussions regarding psychotropic medications during pregnancy and lactation.
• Treatment of psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum.
• Anticipatory guidance regarding attachment and bonding issues.
• Pre-conception counseling for women with psychiatric disorders and those on psychotropics who are considering pregnancy.
