This month we’re welcoming the inaugural cohort of the new Advanced Practice Psychiatric Provider Fellowship Program! Sarah Kim, ARNP, and Madison Korenkiewicz, ARNP, are advanced registered nurse practitioners who will receive training focused on inpatient, outpatient, telehealth consultation and integrated psychiatric care for mental health conditions, including rotations at primary care clinics and the new Center for Behavioral Health and Learning when it opens in 2024. The one-year training program will provide the new Fellows an opportunity to further develop their clinical expertise in mental health care and serve as psychiatric consultants through the Collaborative Care Model.
Developed in partnership with the School of Nursing, the Advanced Practice Psychiatric Provider Fellowship Program is supported by a grant from Premera Blue Cross and generous philanthropic support from an anonymous donor. It is directed by Brendan McDonald, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, in partnership with Anna Ratzliff, MD, PhD, Tatiana Sadak PhD, PMHNP, RN, FAAN, Charity Holmes and Candy Acosta, MBA (Assistant Director). Additional people supporting this effort include Betsy Payn, Amy Bauer, MD, MS (curriculum), Denise Chang, MD (clinical placements and QI), and rotations leads Will Bryson, MD, MPH, Tuesday Burns, MD, Karina Uldall, MD, Natalie Dreyfoos, DNP, PMHNP-BC, and Aroldo M.
