We are delighted to announce that Lucy Wang will become our new Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Director as of July 1, 2016, taking over for Stephen Thielke. Dr. Wang is a graduate of our Psychiatry Residency and Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship programs. She has done an outstanding job as Associate Program Director for the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship for the past year. She co-directs the University of Washington geriatric psychiatry/medicine didactic series, has been active in supervising and teaching residents, fellows, and staff regarding geriatric psychiatry at the Seattle VA, receives excellent ratings for her teaching and supervision, and is a superb clinician. Dr. Wang is also active in scholarly work in geriatric psychiatry and won the 2015 International College of Geriatric Neuro-psychopharmacology Junior Investigator Award.
