We are pleased to announce the launch of the UW Medicine Behavioral Health Strategic Oversight Committee and the appointment of Jim Vollendroff, MPA, as the Behavioral Health Service Line Administrator for UW Medicine. The new Behavioral Health Service Line will support quality, coordinated services across our existing behavioral health programming and provide input on the future expansion of inpatient beds at the Northwest campus and the development of the UW Medicine Behavioral Health Institute at Harborview. We will share more about our strategic direction for the service line in the coming months as we set goals to measure the success of behavioral health services across UW Medicine. Jim will continue to serve as the Director of the Behavioral Health Institute until a new director is appointed.
