Anna Ratzliff to become AIMS Center Director

Department news | October 31, 2017

Anna Ratzliff MD, PhD, will assume the role of director of the AIMS Center (Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions) on January 1, 2018. The AIMS Center was founded more than a decade ago by Dr. Unützer and colleagues with the goal of helping implement evidence-based integrated mental health programs locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Dr. Ratzliff has been a trusted colleague and partner in much of the AIMS Center’s work over the past decade, most recently leading major national training programs in collaborative care in partnership with the American Psychiatric Association and the State of Washington. She is a dynamic and experienced leader who is well positioned to lead the AIMS Center into the future.

As part of this leadership transition, we will bring together our Integrated Care Training Program (ICTP) and the implementation support portfolio supported by the AIMS Center. In her role as Center director, Anna will work closely with Anne Shields, RN, MHA, Associate Center Director, with Marc Avery, MD, who is directing our department’s Psychiatric Consultation and Telehealth program (PCAT) and with John Fortney, PhD, and colleagues in our Division of Population Health, a group of researchers at the forefront of research in collaborative care.
