We are delighted to announce that Amelia Dubovsky, MD, will become one of our two Harborview Associate Program Directors for the Psychiatry Residency Program as of August 1, 2019 joining Matt Iles-Shih, MD, MPH, in this role. Dr. Dubovsky will take over from Kathy Chen, MD, who is stepping down September 3.
We would like to thank Dr. Chen for her excellent work as Associate Program Director and to wish her all the very best for her future, which most immediately includes practicing in New Zealand for a year.
Dr. Dubovsky completed her MD at New York University, her psychiatry residency at MGH/McLean, and her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine here at UW in 2012-2013. Following her fellowship, she joined our faculty at Harborview on the Consultation Liaison service. Dr. Dubovsky received a teaching award from the psychiatry residents at last week’s Graduation in recognition of her outstanding supervision and teaching. We look forward to working with her in this new role!
