2023 Jeremy Clark Fellowship recipients

Department news | May 31, 2023

To honor the memory and contributions of our colleague and friend, Jeremy Clark, PhD, each summer we award research fellowships to UW undergraduate students to work on a ten-week research project in the lab of a Division of Psychiatric Neurosciences faculty member. Preference is given to projects that resonate with Dr. Clark’s passion for research on addiction, development and behavior. This year, the awardees are Rebecca Fox (Garret Stuber Lab, emotional valence encoding in molecularly defined mPFC cell types), Ashley Sciocchetti (Brian Kraemer Lab, dietary manipulation of the toxic effects of tau and TDP-43), and Richa Nag (Abigail Schindler Lab, chronic alcohol use and traumatic brain injury as risk factors for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias). The fellowships are supported by the Jeremy Clark Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship in Neuroscience. Congratulations to the fellows!
