Brandon Thomas, MD, PhD

I am an adult psychiatrist interested in neuromodulation. My research background is in molecular biology with a specific focus on the immune system.

I came to the University of Washington for residency training in psychiatry and pursued elective training in geriatric psychiatry and neuromodulation techniques, such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), though share broad interests interventional psychiatry.

I believe in fostering a partnership with each patient, working together to understand their unique needs and goals, and developing a personalized treatment plan that respects their autonomy. My commitment is to creating an environment where open communication and shared decision-making are central to the recovery process.
