It has been a busy few months at the Pacific West Hub for Mental Health Implementation Support. The team recently traveled to Juneau for the Alaska Behavioral Health Association’s spring conference where co-directors Lydia Chwastiak, MD, MPH and Christina Clayton, MSW, LICSW, SUDP introduced the Pacific West Hub and discussed opportunities to support Rural Health Transformation across the state.
They also joined colleagues in Vancouver, WA for the National Association for Social Workers (NASW) statewide conference, and colleagues in Boise for the Idaho Integrated Behavioral Health Network (IIBHN) Conference. At both, the team led sessions on practical approaches to implementing and sustaining practices in real-world behavioral health settings.
These conversations help shape the Pacific West Hub’s free trainings and support offered throughout the year. If you are interested in getting involved, please explore the Hub’s events page or get in touch with Lydia and Christina at pacificwest@cmhisupport.org.
