At the 2025 Washington Behavioral Healthcare Conference in Kennewick, WA, the Pacific West Hub for Mental Health Implementation Support team hosted a workshop titled “Making it Stick: Tools to Support the ‘How’ of Practice Change.” The session, led by Lydia Chwastiak, MD, MPH; Christina Clayton, LICSW, SUDP; and David Katz, PhD, MPH, sparked rich dialogue around real-world implementation challenges and highlighted practical tools grounded in implementation science designed to help behavioral health leaders not just start change, but sustain it.
The conference also provided a great platform to introduce the work of the new Pacific West Hub, part of the Center for Mental Health Implementation and Support (CMHIS). Leaders of the Pacific West Hub are grateful to Washington’s dedicated behavioral health workforce for showing up, sharing their insights, and exploring how we can drive progress toward better care for all.
