Types of Complaints / Topics Addressed

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and relevant local, state, and federal law, the University provides individuals with disabilities equal access to programs, services and/or activities. UW affiliated persons can learn more about accessibility standards at UW and can report disability related grievances with the ADA coordinator office in the case of physical or digital barriers.

Process

What information you need to submit, what happens after

To report physical or digital barriers on any UW Campus (Seattle, Bothell, Tacoma, or UW Medicine) or location, access the reporting form page here. Once submitted, UW Facilities staff will triage with appropriate University resources from the specific campus or location. This will initiate a process to assess and determine potential remediation options. A UW staff member will be in contact with you to understand unique needs based on each set of circumstances.
