The UW Psychology Internship Program directed by Ty Lostutter, PhD, is happy to announce the development of two new training tracks for 2019-2020. The Integrated Primary Care track, co-led by Kari Stephens, PhD, and Dan Evans, PhD, in partnership with Family Medicine and the Northgate Clinic, will train psychology residents to practice in increasingly complex situations, preparing them to participate in and promote integrated behavioral health care in primary care. This new track is made possible by State funding for the department’s Integrated Care Training Program (ICTP). The Rehabilitation Neuropsychology track will provide psychology residents with an opportunity to receive more focused training in neuropsychological assessment and neurorehabilitation. These new offerings will complement three existing training tracks in General Adult, General Child, and Behavioral Medicine, providing residents multiple areas to specialize in. The UW Psychology Internship Program has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) since 1965, and has built a strong national reputation as a leading medical school-based internship. Applications to the program are due November 1, 2018. For more information, visit the UW Psychology Internship Program website.
