Ty Lostutter, PhD, is currently serving as the President of the Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling (ECPG) and has served on the Board since 2007. ECPG, based in Olympia, is dedicated to increasing awareness of public health issues around problem gambling and gaming, expanding the availability and integration of services, and supporting advocacy, research, and programs for education, prevention, treatment, and responsible gambling and gaming. For more than a decade, Dr. Lostutter’s work has focused on the etiology, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling and other addictive behaviors. He is currently analyzing the outcomes of the web-based gambling prevention program he created and plans to publish the results from that study in the coming months.
