David Ruskin steps down as VA’s ACOS for Mental Health

Department news | April 30, 2018

David Ruskin, MD, has decided to step down as Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System to relocate back to Los Angeles. Dr. Ruskin has served as Associate Chief of Staff for almost two and a half years, initially in an acting role and more recently as the permanent appointee. We will truly miss his enthusiastic, upbeat nature and his unwavering efforts to improve mental health care for our Veterans, and his efforts to deepen the connections between our VA-based faculty and programs and other people in our department. David will be resigning as ACOS effective late May and we wish him all the best in his new position. An acting ACOS will be selected shortly.
