Faculty papers featured in technology and mental health special issue

special issue of Depression and Anxiety, edited by Pat Areán, PhD, and Pim Cuijpers, PhD, (Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands), aims to update the reader on the latest clinical advances in mobile technology and mental health. The issue, called “How Technology Can Improve Assessment and Treatment,” covers everything from the use of smart phones to detect mood and anxiety to proof-of-concept tests of video games as interventions for mood disorders. It provides a nice overview of the changing landscape of technology and mental health care with a positive outlook for the future. Papers from several of our department members are featured, including Pat Areán, PhDKevin Hallgren, PhDAmy Bauer, MD, MS, and David Atkins, PhD.
