A new Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI) Center at VA Puget Sound will implement and evaluate promising clinical practices that incorporate virtual care technologies in order to improve access to high quality care for rural Veterans. Principal Investigator John Fortney, Director of the Division of Population Health, and investigators at the VA Health Services Research & Development Centers of Innovation in Seattle and Iowa City partnered with the VA Office of Rural Health, Telehealth Services and Connected Health Office to create the new Center.
