Thank you for your interest in getting involved with the UW Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Our mission is to improve the health of the public through research and discovery, training the next generation of health professionals and researchers, and improving the lives of patients through exemplary care. As the only psychiatry department serving the five-state WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) region, we continually look for ways to strengthen partnerships within our community.
There are many ways you can engage in and support psychiatry and behavioral science activities. From attending Grand Rounds to volunteering in a clinical trial to financially supporting our programs, we provide a number of opportunities to contribute to our mission of improving the health of the public through research, education, and clinical care.
