King County Executive Dow Constantine has vowed to end the practice of incarcerating youth by 2025, and now there’s an effort to end youth incarceration across the entire state. The UW School of Medicine is developing a new center with this mission in mind led by Ben Danielson, MD. The new center will be housed in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
