Renee Bibeault, MD

I provide evaluation, consultation, medication management and psychotherapy as an outpatient psychiatrist at UWMC. I’m also a consulting psychiatrist in the Behavioral Health Integrated Program, serving UW Woodinville. My goal is to provide skilled, compassionate care individualized in a way that respects the whole person and their unique life circumstances. I’m passionate about strengthening people and their families so that our communities are healthy and safe. Before joining UW, I treated patients in my adult private practice that focused on women’s mental health, premenstrual disorders, perimenopause, postpartum depression and other psychiatric illness that occurs during pregnancy and the postpartum period.  I’m particularly interested in the emotional adjustment to motherhood and parent-infant attachment. I also have expertise in the treatment of major depression, dysthymia, adjustment disorders, panic, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, acute trauma reactions, PTSD, generalized anxiety, life transitions, parenting challenges and relationship distress in both men and women.  Practicing medicine remains an enormous privilege and honor for me. I look forward to partnering with you on your path to recovery and sustained wellness.
