James McKeever, PhD

Personal Statement

As the pediatric psychologist and neuropsychologist in the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program, I am particularly interested in how children and adolescents and their families develop skills to cope with and adapt to their medical situation. Learning disorders and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder are common problems for these patients, and transition to adult life can be difficult and anxiety-provoking. I am also involved with our ADHD (PEARL) consultation clinic.
